¨   Mary was scheduled to present at the international peace conference at the Movenpick Resort-Dead Sea, Jordan, in November 2006.  The conference was cancelled just 48 hours before it start when the conference site was preempted by President Bush and the Iraqi Prime Minister. 

    The conference was rescheduled to November 2007, in Toronto, Canada.  The Ethical NGOs: Forces for Peace World Congress of Non-Governmental Organizations and was convened by the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations.  Mary's topic was - "Find Them, Thank Them, and Keep Them: Best Practices for Recruiting, Recognizing and Retaining Dedicated Volunteers."

    Mary also provided consulting services to peace congress attendees regarding their specific areas of concern regarding volunteer and non-profit board management.
